PAHANG STATE SCHOOL SPORTS COUNCIL TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP

DATE : 2-5 APRIL 2012

VENUE: TEMERLOH, PAHANG

Saranraj Sivamani will be competing in three events, namely 1500m, 3000m Steeplechase & 5000m. Hope that he could achieve his set target for the championship.

KELANTAN STATE SCHOOL SPORTS COUNCIL TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP

DATE : 2-5 APRIL 2012

VENUE: KOTA BHARU, KELANTAN

Nik Norzilawatie will be competing in three events this year, namely 800m, 1500m & 2000m Steeplechase. The 2000m SC is a new event introduced by the MSS Kelantan in their State School Sports Track & Field Championship. Hope this move will spur the other State School Sports Council to include the event in their program.

Kudos to the Tn. Hj. Razuki b. A. Rahman (Ketua Unit), staffs and the coaches of the Kelantan State School Sports Council for listening to the coaches views to improve the sports. I personally would like to express my gratitude to Tn. Hj. Razuki b. A. Rahman for championing the event.

PUSAT LATIHAN PELAPIS NEGERI TRACK & FIELD MEET

DATE : 31 MAC 2012

VENUE: NSC TRACK, BUKIT JALIL

Athletes who will be competing in this meet are Saranraj Sivamani, Saarvin Chinathamby, Vasanthan Balakrishnan, Amirul Hakim b. Johari & Putra Azrul Syazwan b. Azman. All of them are down to compete in the 1500m event.

Good luck and hope they will achieve their set target for this competition.

FTAAA ALL COMERS/SUKMA TRIALS

DATE: 17 & 18 MAC 2012

VENUE: NSC TRACK, BUKIT JALIL

This will be the first competition of the year for most of the BJSS MLD athletes. Athletes competing in this meet are Nik Norzilawatie bt. Nik Wil (800M & 1500M), Saarvin Chinathamby (800M & 1500M), Saranraj Sivamani (5000M) & Vasanthan Balakrishnan (1500M).

Athletes who will not be taking part in this meet due to injuries are Ahmad Luth b. Hamizan (peroneal longus strain), Jeeventhiran Victor Ravintharan (ankle sprain) & Amirul Hakim b. Johari (recovering from dengue fever).

Hope the athletes will do their best and achieved their set target for this meet.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA LITTLE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (WALAA) CHAMPIONSHIP

DATE: 17 & 18 MAC 2012

VENUE: PERTH, AUSTRALIA

Putra Azrul Syazman b. Azman will be competing in the WALAA Championhsip in the 800M & 1500M representing BJSS. This will be his first international competition in the 15 year age group category.

SINGAPORE AAA SERIES

Date: 3 & 4 Mac 2012

Venue: BISHAN STADIUM, SINGAPORE

Ahmad Luth b. Hamizan will be taking part in the Singapore AAA Track & Field Series 3 under the Negeri Sembilan AAA banner. He will be competing in the 3000m Steeplechase event.

PERAK AAA SUKMA TRIALS

DATE: 25 & 26 FEB 2012

VENUE: STADIUM PERAK, IPOH

Jeeventhiran Victor Ravintharan will be taking part in this competition to represent Perak AAA during the XIV SUKMA, Kuantan. He will be competing in 800m & 1500m.
